Welcome to the Art of Self-Compassion

It is something we all need to cultivate in our lives.  Often, we extend it to others while neglecting our own needs.  What would it look like if you added a little self-compassion to your life?  I invite you to grant yourself the kindness, mindfulness, acceptance, and self-care that you deserve. What better way to begin than by giving yourself flowers? They remind us that life moves in seasons.  Each bloom embodies a story of growth, tenderness, and resilience. My abstract floral paintings serve as a gentle reminder to be kind to yourself, to forgive parts of yourself that are still evolving, and to embrace your journey with compassion and an open heart.

The Story

It started with a question:

Would you still believe in your worth without external approval?

We’re often taught to look outside ourselves for validation—to feel worthy through recognition, acceptance, achievement, or others' approval. My artwork explores what happens when we turn inward and begin offering ourselves the compassion and affirmation we so freely give to others.

Flowers became a natural symbol for this journey. They bloom in their own time, move through seasons, and never question whether they are enough. My paintings invite us to embrace our own seasons of growth, change, healing, and becoming.

At the heart of my work is a simple reminder:  You don’t have to wait for someone else to give you your flowers. You can give them to yourself.
